Q.When I play back the recordings you can hear the audio but there is no video.

A. It's usually because the computer doesn't have the updated codec which supports the video encode. We usually recommend the K-lite codec which you can download at http://ftp.isu.edu.tw/pub/CPatch/media/k-lite/klcodec495f.exe

Or VLC should support the video too.
